A Farewell to the Gulf of Mexico

A Mother and her children say "goodbye" to a dying sea turtle.

I encourage you to please share my heartfelt video with others and I appreciate your comments.

With deep sadness in the wake of the tragic Deepwater Horizon oil spill, I pieced together this video montage to bid farewell to the Gulf of Mexico as it was. If the Gulf ever recovers from this, it will not be in my lifetime. I wish the rest of the world could know exactly what we've lost. This is HOME, this is my HEART, this is tragedy beyond comprehension or words. That is why there is no wording....the photos and video speak volumes themselves....may God bless us all.

  2. As I sit hear with tears streaming down my face, we have to share this with as many people as we can. Sent to your Senator, sent it to the President, sent to the media. No action is too small. We have to make our voices heard.

  4. Thank you for this. I shouldn't have watched it at work. So unprofessional to sit here with a tear stained face. Keep on witnessing the devastation and the lies.

I've been praying and begging God to intervene, as only he can in this tragic manmade disaster. My heart is broken at the thought of our fowls and marine life that depend on the sea for life. I am sad for the people who depend on the sea for their livlihood, but people can retreat; eat; survive, but our wildlife have no choice no recourse; they do not know what is going on. The Gulf of Mexico is one of the most beautiful places on earth that my family has enjoyed for years. I pray for all. I've done it sine day one. And, sine this was gross negligence, I am waiting for the BP executive who made the decision to disregard the engineers warnings about the fail safe measures being broken, and yet, decided to risk the lives of the people on the oil rig; the lives of the people who depend on the sea to provide a living, and the most wanton and wreckless decision to disregard the lives of the wildlife that depend on the sea.
